गङ्गा पापं शशी तापं दैन्यं कल्पतरुस्तथा ।
पापं तापं च दैन्यं च घ्नन्ति सन्तो महाशयाः ॥
Ganga removes the sins of human beings. The moon takes away the fatigue caused by the heat of the Sun. The Kalpataru, the divine tree in Swarga loka, takes away the poverty of the humans. However, people of noble souls, removes the sins, fatigue and poverty .
Gangga menghapus dosa manusia. Bulan menghilangkan penat akibat panasnya matahari. Kalpataru, pohon dewa di Swarga loka, menghilangkan kemiskinan manusia. Namun, orang yang berjiwa mulia, menghilangkan dosa, penat dan kemiskinan.
